I’m very hesitant to say this show was bad. They had a powerhouse cast— Jake Epstein (shoutout Craig in Degrassi) Isabella Esler (shoutout Lydia in Beetlejuice) and Chiliena Kennedy (I saw her as Mary Poppins before she went to Broadway in Beautiful)— with incredible performances, both acting and singing. However, like a lot of “Can-Con” productions, the songs and the story felt fairly lacklustre. I’m not sure if was the 90-minute run-time, but I was left wanting more from both the story and the music.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCE: Julia Pulo as Hannah. I wish the show was about her.

FUN FACT: Arinea Hermans (Fury) was a childhood friend of one of my besties so I saw her in her High School production of Into the Woods so when she’s famous I will claim this.
