I am ASHAMED to report I had never seen The Lion King on stage prior to 2024 (I’ve never seen Hairspray or Cabaret either BLASPHEMY!!!) and I LOVED it. Magical. Nostalgic. Gorgeous. Everything I wanted it to be.

STANDOUT PERFORMANCE: Zama Maguduela as Rafiki. I had full body goosebumps every time she sang.

FUN FACT: The Lion King holds the title of the 3rd longest running Broadway show in history! Behind only The Phantom of the Opera (which ran from 1988-2023) and the 1996 revival of Chicago.
